Cake Base

  • 2 boxes Vanilla cake mix
  • 6 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract

Frosting and Decoration

  • 4 cups Buttercream frosting store-bought or homemade
  • 2 teaspoons Blue gel food coloring
  • 1/2 cup Black fondant for superhero logo
  • 1/4 cup Yellow fondant for stars
  • 1 Small superhero action figure cleaned thoroughly
  • 1 tube Edible silver sprinkles
  • 1 package Edible gold star decorations

Instructions
 

Preheat and Prepare Pans

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and line two cake pans (9-inch and 6-inch) with parchment paper.

Mix the Batter

  • In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, water, and vanilla extract.

  • Mix according to package directions until smooth and well combined.

Fill and Bake

  • Divide the batter between the prepared pans, filling each about 2/3 full.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cooling Process

  • Allow cakes to cool in pans for 10 minutes, then remove and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely (about 1 hour).

Color the Frosting

  • While cakes are cooling, color your frosting.
  • Reserve 1 cup of white frosting, then add blue food coloring to the remaining frosting and mix until you achieve a vibrant superhero blue color.

  • Center the smaller cake on top of the larger one.

Final Frosting

Add the Superhero Logo
