Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch cake pan.
  • Mix ingredients – In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 1 cup self-rising flour, 1 cup granulated sugar, and 3 large eggs until smooth and creamy.

  • Pour batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Cool & Serve – Let the cake cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack. Slice and serve plain or with toppings like whipped cream and fresh berries.
